Im not greedy as you can see, just a birthday wish instead of wishes.
In this life of mine, I don't deny I wanted many stuff like electronic gadgets, clothings, good food blablabla, which I admit some of them comes in very heavy monetary values. But a few days ago a thought dawned on me, I came to realise that the above things that I want are to be considered secondary to things that I really Need.
Do I need or do I want a camera? I can live without a camera therfore it falls under the want category.Ah ha, few hundred bucks saved!
Maybe next time when you are out buying something, ask yourself do you need it or do you want it ? I now believe once we are able to differentiate the need from the wants that we seek, we will all be able to reach our goals/dreams in life much faster with the money saved...lol.
Hai, If only gold could buy you, I would have become the stingest person on earth.haha
Hmm, what do I want for my birthday?...I don't want anything I want, I want something I need. And thats you ( I know it sounds corny.)
On a side note, thank you dad for paying for the laptop and using your cpf for my school fee. I dare not look into your eyes and say thank you for the distance between us is too far and it would be strangely awkward . Though you will not ever come across my blog I still must say.
Few years ago, I didnt understand how hard money has to be earned. But today I saw the hefty sums of school fee, laptop price and every other stuff that comes with a dollar sign infront, I can feel the heavy burden on your shoulders. Just a few swipes of your card and today you spent nearly 2k just on me alone(Excluding the school fee). Ha, no words can describe the gratitude I felt, fear not I will work hard and never will I let history repeat itself.
Hai, your wallet gona be bleeding again with sister's 3k private school fee. Those money suckers, they even got the cheek to put "FREE IPOD" at the end of the figure. Why the fuck are they providing a tool of distraction to students taking o levels.Oh my god, today I saw a world made of money and transaction only. What RP called a matriculation program, I see a money making business going on in disguise.
Yesterday was independent day for me. My first official pay check! of a meagre 103 bucks.hahahaha
