As I watch her wheeled into surgery, I felt waves of feelings rising up within me. Here is a woman, willinginly undergoing an invasive surgery to try to have something of our own. I felt reduced in that moment of her selflessness.
This sparked a drive in me. I want to give my best in whatever I do and I am confident that this will put us in better places than before. I always ask myself, what is life about when all our destinations are the same. I have gotten the same answer time and again, that life is about the journey, the experiences but today, the feelings i felt, it enriched the answer.
