you have been through the thick and thin of tekong with me.
You let me see the world so much clearer,
help me averted danger on the ground when i walk,
aided me in walking through the night safely,
you let me learn a lot of things from far away.
despite me neglecting you
or choosing the other pair instead of you.
despite me treating you unkindly,
and abusing you, putting you in all sorts of awkward positions with your legs and giving you scratches that can never heal.
you never complaint.
my dear black spectacles, where are you.
grow some real legs and find your way back leh.
