we are born like a jigsaw puzzle.
every birthday that passes, we get closer to form a picture.
learn new stuff, we get new pieces of the picture
ups and downs, another few more pieces.
i lack one piece to complete the picture of wings.
ive tried to fit similar pieces into it, some the edges are wrong, some mismatch colours.
i know i found the right piece to fit in long ago,
but somehow it fell from my fingers and made its way beneath the sofa.
heavy sofa pilled with laundry.
i must lift it up,
i want and need that piece.
even if it breaks my back to retrieve it.
